Autumn Hunnicutt is an artist from Northern New Mexico. Her work focuses on her own spiritual search, interest in self-awareness, interconnection, the relationship between geometry and nature, and the use of psychedelics as a tool for learning. She works primarily with oil paint on either canvas or wood. A strong root of inspiration is derived from the teachings of her father about spirituality and his practice with the Native American Church and Peyote religion. Interest in these topics grew with the involvement in music festival culture and sporadic, short-lived moves to the Pacific Northwest.
Autumn will be receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from New Mexico State University December of 2018 and plans to further her education with a MFA.
